Celebration of Constitution Day of India

The Constitution Day of India would be celebrated on Saturday 26th November 2016 at 1700 hrs in the Chancery premises at Koura Kano.  The programme will consist of :

i)Address by the Ambassador, 

ii)Lectures on salient features of Nigerien Constitution and its evolution  by Dr. Amadou Boubakar Hassan of Abdou Moumouni University, 

iii)Lecture on salient features of Indian Constitution and its evolution by Smt. Sarita Acharya, 

iv)Short speeches by Indian nationals on fundamental rights under Indian Constitution, and

v) Conclusion and refreshments

The programme is expected to last for 75 minutes.  

All Indian nationals are cordially  invited to attend the event.  Participation may please be confirmed on hoc.niamey@mea.gov.in .
